At Pop Rox Music School, kids step into the school day as part of a real rock band. 🎸🥁🎤 They learn guitar, drums, or vocals while playing songs together, jamming, and communicating through music. Every session teaches teamwork, camaraderie, and creative problem-solving—all while having a blast and building real musical skills.

Signing up is simple! Complete our quick online form. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing your start date and a direct debit setup link in. (£36.95 per month, with a payment holiday in August). 

After signing up, your child is added to a group at their school. We carefully pair children with others of roughly the same age (or a maximum of one 1/2 year apart) to foster a supportive, fun environment. Plus, we provide all the instruments your child needs—there’s nothing extra to buy!

Your child will attend a fun, high-energy 30-minute lesson each week during school hours. Lesson times rotate every week so that they never miss the same school lesson twice in one month, ensuring minimal disruption to their regular learning.

In every session, your child dives into guitar, drums, or vocals in a small band setting. They play real songs, learn to lock in with their bandmates, and explore their instrument hands-on. Each lesson helps them communicate through music, collaborate with others, and develop real skills—all while having a blast.

Each term, your child gets the exciting opportunity to choose their own song to learn with their group. Typically, we work on one or two songs per term, helping them develop their skills while playing music they love!

Throughout the term, we will keep in touch with updates, fun videos, and highlights from your child’s band sessions—showing their growth, new skills, and rockstar moments every step of the way.

At the end of each term, your child will showcase their progress in a special performance at their school, during the school day. This performance is a fantastic opportunity for them to celebrate their achievements in front of friends and family!

After the gig, lessons continue throughout the remaining weeks of term, and into the next . Your child’s musical journey carries on automatically with your subscription—there’s no need to re-enrol unless you decide to cancel.

We understand that plans can change:

• Instrument Changes: If your child wants to change instruments, we recommend that they stick with one for at least a half term. If, after that time, they aren’t getting on well with their current instrument or really want to try something new, simply put in a request with your rock lead. If a slot is available, we’ll be happy to add your child to their preferred instrument group.
• Financial or Other Changes: If your circumstances change, please get in touch with us regarding any cancellations or queries.
• Payments & Cancellation Policy: Payments run via a monthly rolling subscription with a cancellation anytime policy. If you would like to cancel your subscription, please do so before the fourth week of any month; otherwise, you may be charged for an extra month.
