Pop Rox Music School delivers exciting, high-energy rock band lessons where children learn guitar, vocals, and drums as a band during the school day. Our engaging sessions build confidence, creativity, and teamwork—turning young beginners into rockstars! 🎸🥁🎤

Signing up is simple! Complete our quick online form. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing your start date and a direct debit setup link in. (£36.95 per month, with a payment holiday in August). 

After signing up, your child is added to a group at their school. We carefully pair children with others of roughly the same age (or a maximum of one 1/2 year apart) to foster a supportive, fun environment. Plus, we provide all the instruments your child needs—there’s nothing extra to buy! You’ll also receive a welcome email outlining our rotating lesson schedule.

Your child will attend a fun, high-energy 30-minute lesson each week during school hours. Lesson times rotate every week so that they never miss the same school lesson twice in one month, ensuring minimal disruption to their regular learning.

In every session, your child explores guitar, drums, and vocals in a small group setting. These lessons are designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and encourage teamwork—all while making music a truly enjoyable experience.

Each term, your child gets the exciting opportunity to choose their own song to learn with their group. Typically, we work on one to three songs per term, helping them develop their skills while playing music they love!

Throughout the term, we keep you informed with progress reports and videos so you can see firsthand how your child is growing as a musician.

At the end of each term, your child will showcase their progress in a special concert at their school. This performance is a fantastic opportunity for them to celebrate their achievements in front of friends and family and build even more confidence.

After the concert, lessons continue into the next term. Your child’s musical journey carries on automatically with your subscription—there’s no need to re-enrol unless you decide to cancel.

We understand that plans can change:

• Instrument Changes: If your child wants to change instruments, we recommend that they stick with one for at least a half term. If, after that time, they aren’t getting on well with their current instrument or really want to try something new, simply put in a request with your rock lead. If a slot is available, we’ll be happy to add your child to their preferred instrument group.
• Financial or Other Changes: If your circumstances change, please get in touch with us regarding any cancellations or queries.
• Payments & Cancellation Policy: Payments run via a monthly rolling subscription with a cancellation anytime policy. If you would like to cancel your subscription, please do so before the fourth week of any month; otherwise, you may be charged for an extra month.
